From the search for a transformative role, to family values and an upcoming adventure (a rowing trip across the Atlantic Ocean), join us as we share Gregor’s story as an Organizational and Change Management Consultant at Bosch Digital.
How it began…
Gregor started as an apprentice for wholesale and foreign trade merchants. He then decided to spend some time in the military, where he underwent Special Forces training. This gave him valuable lessons on how to work with a team in extreme situations. After completing his military service, Gregor earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration, an exciting background that would be useful for his future career.
As a moderator, I make a direct and immediate contribution to the success of colleagues, departments and the company.
His Career at Bosch
Gregor joined Bosch Digital in November 2018 after coming across a job posting for an Organizational and Change Management Consultant. Little did he know, this decision would lead him on a path with diverse projects, international travel and a unique mix of challenges and opportunities. As a business graduate, he was attracted to the idea of driving change in organizations. Since then, Gregor has been responsible for moderating workshops and supporting S/4HANA. He also works on developing an implementation framework for Lean@BD, demonstrating his commitment to driving efficiency and innovation.
Everyday Work Life
As a moderator and consultant, Gregor draws inspiration from the direct impact he has on the success of his colleagues and the company. He enjoys interacting with diverse individuals during daily workshops. The privilege of actively shaping projects and fostering collaboration with his team drives him to foster positive change at Bosch Digital. While the role brings a sense of fulfillment, it also brings challenges, especially the shift from discussing problems to finding effective solutions, which Gregor masters with enthusiasm and commitment.

Private Life
Away from the corporate world, Gregor is a sports enthusiast and family man. His workouts include rowing, yoga and HYROX (a combination of strength and endurance sports). Gregor shares his love of sports with his 19-year-old son, with whom he often trains and participates in competitions. He also serves as his 16-year-old daughter’s tennis training. Although his children are gradually going their own way, their family makes a point of spending time together during their yearly vacations.
Atlantic-crossing adventure
In an upcoming adventure of a lifetime, Gregor will row across the Atlantic Ocean on December 12, 2024, as part of the “World’s Toughest Row”. Together with his rowing partner, Sabrina from Canada, they aim to cover more than 3,100 miles from the Canary Islands to Antigua. They will rely solely on their own strength. Inspired by a newspaper article about an Atlantic rowing expedition 25 years ago, Gregor is looking forward to the mental and physical challenges of this extreme journey. The 60-day endeavor involves a relentless cycle of rowing, which will test his endurance and resilience. While Gregor looks forward to this unique experience, he knows challenges await him, but it’s an adventure that not many people get to experience.
